Applying to IntellActX

Five steps, no entrance coaching, and no surprises about fees. If you are unsure which grade your child belongs in, we will work that out together during the visit.

How it works

Five steps from enquiry to first day

Most families complete these steps within two weeks. Applications are reviewed in the order they are received, and seats depend on the grade.

  1. Step 1

    Get in touch

Send the form below or call the school office. We will answer your first questions and note your child's grade.

  2. Step 2

    Visit the campus

About 45 minutes, at a time that suits you. You will see classrooms in use and meet a teacher or the principal.

  3. Step 3

    Submit the application

Complete the admission form and bring the documents listed below. There is no application test for pre-primary.

  4. Step 4

    Meet the teacher

For Grades 1 and above, a short and friendly interaction with the class teacher, to understand where your child is academically.

  5. Step 5

    Offer and enrolment

If a seat is available we confirm in writing, and you complete the fee and transport formalities at the school office.

Eligibility

Which grade is right for my child?

Age is the starting point, not the whole answer. If your child has moved schools or has learned at a different pace, we will place them where they can cope and stretch, rather than simply by birth year.

Age ranges can vary by campus. Please confirm with the school office before applying. [Campus admissions policy]

Indicative age for entry, as at 1 June of the academic year.
Grade Usual age Notes
Nursery 3 years Toilet-independent preferred
LKG / UKG 4–5 years No written test
Grades 1–5 6–10 years Short interaction with a teacher
Grades 6–8 11–13 years Previous school report required
Grades 9–10 14–16 years Subject to board eligibility and seat availability

Fees

Fees are set per campus and per grade, and are given to you in writing before you commit to anything. The school office will share a full break-up of tuition, transport and activity charges.

Fee structure: [Contact your campus for the current fee structure].

No capitation or donation is charged at any stage of admission.

Documents to bring

  • Birth certificate (original and a photocopy)
  • Transfer certificate from the previous school, if any
  • Last report card or progress report
  • Four passport-size photographs of the child
  • Address proof, and one parent's identity proof
  • Immunisation record, for pre-primary entry

Photocopies can be made at the school office if you forget something. Please do not delay a visit over paperwork.

Questions parents ask

Admissions FAQ

Is there an entrance test?

No written test for pre-primary. From Grade 1, your child spends a short, friendly session with the class teacher so we can see where they are and place them correctly.

What if the grade we need is full?

We will tell you straight away rather than keep you waiting. Your details stay on a waiting list, and we call you as soon as a seat opens.

Do you provide school transport?

Transport runs on the main routes near each campus, subject to availability. Ask the school office for the current routes and charges.

Can fees be paid in instalments?

Fees are usually paid term by term. If you need a different arrangement, speak to the school office before the due date — we would rather agree a plan than send a reminder.

My child needs extra learning support. Can you help?

Tell us during the visit, and bring any reports you have. We will be honest with you about whether we can meet your child's needs well. We never take an admission we cannot support properly.

Do siblings get priority?

Yes, where a seat is available. [Confirm the campus sibling policy]
