Child protection and safeguarding
Every staff member is trained to recognise and report concerns about a child. Concerns are recorded, reviewed by the principal, and acted on — including involving the authorities where the law requires it.
Parent Hub
Notices, the academic calendar, school policies and forms — in one place. If something you need is not here, call the school office and we will send it to you.
Notices
[Date] · Whole school
Meetings run over three afternoons. Your child's class teacher will send a slot on the class group. If none of the slots work for you, tell us and we will find another time.
[Date] · Grades 6–10
Students may work in pairs. Board-mounted work is not required; a working model and a two-minute explanation is what we are looking for.
[Date] · Pre-primary
Please send your child in sports shoes on practice days. Water bottles are essential — the school provides the rest.
Urgent notices — closures, transport changes — are sent by SMS and the class groups first, and posted here the same day.
Academic calendar
Dates are confirmed at the start of each term and can shift by a few days. [Confirm term dates for this academic year]

Summaries are below. The full documents are available from the school office on request, in English and in the regional language.

How children, staff and parents are expected to treat one another. No shouting, no physical punishment, no humiliation — and a clear route to complain if you see any of it.
Please inform the class teacher by message if your child will be absent, and send a written note on return. Extended absence for family reasons should be discussed with the principal in advance.
Bullying is named, recorded and followed up with both families. Children are told exactly who to speak to, and they are never told to “sort it out between yourselves”.

Parent FAQ
Start with the class teacher — they know your child best. If the matter is not resolved, or it concerns a teacher, ask the school office for an appointment with the principal. You will not be asked to explain yourself twice.
Message the class teacher before the first bell, and send a written note on the day your child returns. For absences longer than three days, please request the leave of absence form.
The sick room is staffed and a first-aid trained staff member stays with your child. We call you before treating anything beyond a basic first-aid matter, and we never send a young child home unaccompanied.
Yes. The school office keeps a simple one-page note on what to pack, and what we ask families not to send for allergy reasons. Ask us for a copy if you have not received it.
